Over the course of the last 20 years, I’ve developed an integrated career as a massage and craniosacral therapist, somatic social worker, yoga teacher, and sacred space holder. My work is informed by a lifelong commitment to help people feel more free, relaxed, present and vital in their bodies and lives. I utilize an accessible, integrative, heart-centered and body-positive approach to healing and liberation. I believe that the mind, body and spirit are deeply and inextricably connected in exquisite and mysterious ways. As a result, I draw upon modalities that help bridge the fissures that are often present between these central aspects of self to support people in re-member-ing, recovering, and reclaiming their fundamental wholeness and sovereignty.
My work is further informed by deep immersion in non-dual, earth-based spiritual practices and theoretical orientations in radical feminism, Attachment Theory, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and humanistic, existential, relational and experiential approaches to bodywork and therapy. I make use of a wide range of integrative therapeutic and bodywork modalities including Visionary Craniosacral Work®, Somatic Therapy, yoga therapy, deep tissue massage, Swedish massage, abdominal massage, Lomi Lomi, hot stones and pre/post-natal massage. I work with adults, children, couples and families to identify what kinds of modalities will best address and support their needs and goals. I respect the autonomy, wisdom, pacing and relative readiness of the people I serve and work collaboratively with clients to craft a unique treatment plan that honors who they are, what they’re ready for and what they’re seeking now.
I am passionate about the work I do and approach it with attentiveness, focus, respect, nurturance, and love. I believe that in order to recover those aspects of our self-sacredness that are most fundamental to who we are, we must honor our nature as relational beings living within a web of interconnectedness that, when in balance, can support us through challenging and transitional times. I offer myself to this web in deep devotion and am grateful to be able to show up for my community as we work together for collective liberation and healing.

“Love your work, presence, spirit; your new course offering at The Yoga Room sounds incredible, right on time, innovative, healing… As a fellow traveler (this planet, this life) and body worker, as a physician at or near the front edge of attending to the deleterious effects this ultra fast paced and over taxing lifestyle, frightening world affairs, … I appreciate this note, your intelligence, the gifts you bring. -K.W.
